Booking & Policy Information – Bold Skincare & Spa

Thank you for selecting Bold Skincare & Spa. Our team of licensed professionals is committed to providing high-quality waxing and hair removal services in Philadelphia, including Brazilian waxing, body waxing, and other esthetic services. Please review the information below before booking your appointment.

Appointments & Access

   •    We are appointment only – no walk-ins.

   •    All clients will receive a virtual key 🔑 via text on the day of their appointment to access the building.

   •    Location: 525 S 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147 inside the Foremost Building, second floor, Suite 250B.

   •    Please call us if you are running late. We allow a 10-minute grace period. After 10 minutes, it is not guaranteed that your esthetician will be able to complete your full service, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Questions Before Booking?

As a private, one-provider suite, we may be assisting another client and are often unable to answer phone calls during appointments.

If you have any questions about booking or your upcoming appointment, please text us at 267-641-9776 (267-641-9776). If you prefer a phone call, simply text “CALL”, and we’ll return your call as soon as we’re available.

Cancellations, No-Shows & Fees

   •   35% cancellation fee applies to any appointment canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.Cancellation Courtesy Policy: We understand that life happens. Appointments canceled within 24 hours are subject to a 35% cancellation fee. While this fee is non-refundable, it may be applied as a courtesy toward one rescheduled appointment if the new booking is made within 24 hours of the cancellation. This courtesy does not apply to no-shows. Appointments that are canceled, not rescheduled within this time frame, or missed without notice will forfeit the fee.

   •    No-shows are also subject to the 35% fee.

   •    These charges are non-refundable.

   •    Cancellation Benefits: If you cancel your membership, any benefits you have already paid for will remain available for one year from the cancellation date. You can still use these benefits, but you must pay the difference between the membership price and the full service price. No exceptions.

Booking & Payment

   
•    A valid card on file is required to secure your appointment. Without a card, the system will automatically cancel your booking.

   •    Your card is stored securely at the time of booking and will not be charged in advance. Payment is processed at checkout after your service is completed, and any eligible discounts or promotions will be applied at that time.

Refunds & Groupons

  
•    No refunds will be issued for any reason. All sales are final.

 Groupon offers are exclusively for first-time clients and limited to one redemption per customer. Clients may redeem one Groupon for hair removal services and one separate Groupon for lash services.

• A 20% gratuity is automatically added to all Groupon appointments. The gratuity will be collected upfront as part of the required booking deposit when scheduling your appointment.

• Groupon appointments are available Tuesdays and Thursdays during our regular business hours from 10 AM–7 PM.

Groupons cannot be transferred or gifted to another person. The Groupon must be redeemed by the original purchaser.

Groupon clients: Please select “Special Offers” when booking. Once selected, scroll down to the Groupon option and choose the service that matches your Groupon voucher. Do not book individual services from the regular service menu.

Confirmations & Rescheduling

  
•    You will receive a confirmation text 48 hours before your appointment. Please confirm by clicking the link included in the text.

   •    If you need to reschedule, you may do so through the link in your confirmation text or directly via the PocketSuite app for clients.

Cell Phone & Recording Policy

To ensure your comfort and safety during services:

   •    No cell phones are allowed on the treatment bed.

  •    Recording (audio or video) is strictly prohibited.

   •    If a phone is used or found on the bed, your service may be ended immediately without refund or credit.

General Policies

   No children, extra guests, or pets allowed in the treatment area.

Exceptions:

• Infants in carriers or strollers are permitted.

• Certified service animals are permitted. (Emotional support animals are not considered service animals under ADA guidelines.)

Age Requirement:

You must be 18 years or older to book an appointment.

• Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entirety of the service.

   •    We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. The reason does not have to be disclosed.

Respectful Environment

We are committed to creating a safe, positive, and professional atmosphere. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the appointment and refusal of future services.

Liability Waiver & Disclaimer

By booking or receiving services at Bold Skincare & Spa, you agree to the following:

   •    Services provided are for personal care and wellness only and are not a substitute for medical treatment.

   •    It is your responsibility to inform your esthetician of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or concerns prior to your appointment.

   •    You assume all risks associated with services received and release Bold Skincare & Spa, its employees, and contractors from any liability, claims, or damages related to your service.
